Whether you’re a new Christian or you’d like to go deeper into the faith you’ve had for years, we have studies, events and groups for you. Explore the various opportunities we offer and dive into a new study or join a small group. Grow in your faith by learning with others.
DivorceCare 2024
If you or someone you know has gone through a divorce or is potentially on that road. Know that hope, help, and healing are possible through the ministry of DivorceCare. This class will begin on Sunday, January 14, from 3-4:30 PM in room 402. This is a 13 week class. Registration is through DivorceCare.org. Type in the zip code “38632” and select Hernando Methodist Church. Follow the instructions for registration and ordering of workbook. Sunday Morning Connections
We have 11 adults Sunday School classes for all ages and stages in life on Sundays at 10:00 AM. To find a

The Fellowship Sunady School class is a group of loving and caring friends, supporting each other with prayers and a study together of God’s Word for biblical truths and Christian principles for life guidance. People of any age are welcome!

One of our larger classes, this group enjoys the free expression of ideas, and opinions as they study through the Adult Bible Series curriculum. Teacher: Rotates

This group uses a variety of traditional as well as contemporary studies.

This class is unique in that it is designed as a series of short-term studies that people who are interested can attend. If you do not have a Sunday school class but are interested in a particular study, come and join us. You can return to your “regular” class at any time although we will miss you.. Rich with history, this is one of the oldest continuous Sunday school classes in the church. They discuss in depth the lesson each week from the Adult Bible Study series and stay abreast of current events. They welcome and encourage anyone to attend and warmly suggest bringing a guest.

The name symbolizes that every day is a new beginning. This class is a group of primarily sharing and caring women. The group focuses on independent studies related to the needs of the class.

This fun-loving class uses the Bible as its guide,, studying books of the Bible as well as current DVD series on biblically-based topical studies. For couples and singles of all ages. Teacher: Allen Whitsitt

Not so Young, Young Married Class: 25, 35 to 40+ year old, mostly married couples but also individuals. This class does both lecture and class discussion style lessons. We would love to welcome you to the class.

This group uses a variety of materials to apply biblical teaching to everyday life.

This class enjoys lively discussions based on Scripture, various studies and living life as believers, while rocking casually in class and sharing fellowship and friendship. The first Sunday of each month during the school year, this group brings breakfast foods to enjoy during class. Teacher: Cheryl Beene

Weekly Connections
This is a great group of ladies not just from our church but from across our area
that meet together for Bible study, fellowship, and prayer. We
do various small group studies throughout the year with “stand alone” studies in
the summer as people travel more. All are welcomed.
Wednesday Mornings: 9:30 am-11:00 am
During the school year, Bro. David has a class on Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:00 pm for bible study. This is a great opportunity for adults of all ages and especially those with children as they meet during the Kids Connect Wednesday night program.
